New Orleans was worse than you think…and other US cities are at current risk of even greater catastrophes from…levee failures.

That’s the conclusion of group of respected civil engineers who have studied natural and engineering disasters (New Orleans was an engineering disaster) all over the world.

    Thank you. The subject of levee’s is one that I’ve never thought much about until the horror that hit New Orleans. I assumed “those in the know” would do their job and do it correctly.
    Knowing the entire country is in danger from within is appaling. Our infrastructure is expected to be dealt with by someone, sometime, somehow. There is no plan by the powers that be. War yes. Survival and protection, No.
